EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) – Northstar Middle School hosted a food drive this weekend for the middle school’s Kitchen Cupboard Pantry.
The pantry has been open at Northstar for the last 4 years. It is meant to help any students facing food insecurity.
This year, the pantry is also pairing up with the Equity Club at Northstar to help spread positivity while thanking those who donated items to the school.
“These donations will go to stock our kitchen cupboard which is a food pantry here in the building at Northstar. It’s for Northstar families and students to help them out when they are in a time of need with either toiletries or general home accessories or food,” Andy Brown, Teacher at Northstar Middle School said.
Students and families can visit the pantry during school hours.
Donations of non-perishable food items can also be accepted when the school is open.
