Lenny Lane, president of Buffalo F.A.T.H.E.R.S., talked about the importance of the food drive.
“You know meat is high, food is high, gas is high, rent is high, and people are nervous trying to make a decision on, ‘Should I buy food or should I pay rent? And we want to ease that burden,” he said.
The group also delivered food to families that could not make it in person due to weather.
