Donut recall: 2 million donuts from Dunkin’ and other brands recalled nationwide due to listeria concerns

Approximately 2 million donuts from Dunkin’ and other brands, as well as other baked goods, have been recalled due to listeria contamination, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

The FDA’s enforcement report notes that the recall, which manufacturer FGF Brands initiated, includes products manufactured before Dec. 13, 2024.

It started during a routine inspection at one of the company’s facilities, but no donuts or food contact surfaces tested positive for listeria. All donuts currently being sold are safe to eat.

The recall did not take effect until Jan. 7, 2025, but it was recently classified on Feb. 5, 2025, as a Class II recall by the FDA.

This means that the products involved “may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences,” according to the FDA.

The 60 different types of recalled baked goods range from chocolate, raspberry and Bavarian creme donuts to other pastries, such as French crullers, éclairs and coffee rolls. All goods were distributed across the U.S. and Canada.

The following Dunkin’ products were included in the recall:

• Dunkin’ Just Baked Sour Cream Cake Donuts 120×2.5 ounces, net weight 18.75 pounds (Item # – 8201860, Recall # – F-0499-2025)
• Dunkin’ Just Baked Eclairs 84×2.36 ounces, net weight 12.39 pounds (Item # – 8201863, Recall # – F-0500-2025)
