SNELLVILLE, Ga. – Snellville residents may have noticed a large police presence by the CVS near Rockdale Circle Saturday night. Officials say a carjacker likely made a stunning discovery once realizing there were two children still in the car.

It was later discovered abandoned nearby. Luckily, the children were still inside and unharmed.
A K-9 unit was deployed to track the suspect, but was unsuccessful. Police believe the thief was able to escape in another vehicle.
