FLINT, Mich. (WJRT) – Back to the Brick’s 2025 Chrome and Ice Car Show is officially in the books.
The 10th annual winter car show wrapped up at the Dort Financial Center on Sunday afternoon.
This year’s theme was “The Evolution of Racing“
All weekend long you could look at cars built to race from across the generations.
Sunday afternoon there was an awards ceremony to cap this year’s event.
The 2025 Best in Show award was given to the owners of a 1950 Ford F-150 truck named Gertrude.
“This is beyond even what we dreamed of having,” said the truck owner Saun Strobel of Birch Run. “Pretty much every show she’s gone to she’s taken an award of some sort. This is the first time we’ve been to Chrome and Ice as a participant. We’ve come as a spectator for years so we’re really happy to be able to come and support the show it’s a great show great venue and they give back to the community so we’re glad to be a part of it“.
