8th annual Panama City Beach Food Truck & Craft Beer Festival held at Aaron Bessant Park

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) – On Sunday, Panama City Beach residents were able to enjoy a day outdoors in the sun with fun, friends, and food trucks.

For the eighth-straight year, Food Truck Festivals of America visited PCB for a two-day event at Aaron Bessant Park.

Vendors signed up to provide their special blend of food, drinks, sweets, clothing and homemade trinkets.

Also at the event was a craft beer tent in the middle of an open field.

Food Truck Festivals of America focuses on local vendors for the event, and organizers say the interest was so high this year that there was a waiting list of vendors wanting to participate.

“This is our eighth year coming to Panama City Beach. What we do is we travel all across the country. We’re from New England, we don’t get this beautiful weather. We have about six inches of snow on the ground right now, so we travel and chase the sunshine, and here we are in Panama City Beach, and we absolutely love it. We fell in love with the city, we fell in love with the area,” said Anthony Pepe, owner of Food Truck Festivals for America.

Pepe told NewsChannel 7 that Saturday’s crowd of over 4,000 people was an all-time single-day record for their festivals in Panama City Beach.
