HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) – A family of nine was displaced following a basement fire on Litchfield Street Sunday evening.
At 8:00 p.m., crews responded to a report of smoke at a home in the Blue Hills neighborhood.
The fire department said they found a working fire in the basement.
Crews quickly extinguished the fire.
According to officials, six adults and three children were relocated by the American Red Cross.
The Hartford Fire District Chief said there were no injuries.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
