Urban League hosts food giveaway in north St. Louis

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – The Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis is helping feed thousands of people this weekend.

The Urban League hosted a food giveaway Saturday at its headquarters in North City.

Organizers collected enough items for 1,800 boxes filled with food and toiletries.

This is just one of the several giveaways the Urban League hosts throughout the year with partner organizations like the St. Louis Area Foodbank and MLK Celebration Commission.
