Cross-country skiing is back at the Skyline Sports Complex on the west side of Bend. This week marks first time that Skyline Sports Complex has been open to cross-country skiing this year.
The trails have been groomed and there is plenty of fresh snow.
“The conditions were great. It’s a little thin at the bottom of the hill but enough snow. Grooming’s been great. Classic tracks, great for skating. Didn’t think this was gonna happen this year, so we’re pretty stoked to get out here before work,” skier Claire Curtis said
Skyline Sports Complex is located at 19617 Mountaineer Way near Seven Peaks School and Cascade Middle School.
