SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – Hope for the Hopeless H2O is holding a fundraiser to raise money to support orphaned children in Liberia and make improvements to their school.
“We do child sponsorship, 50 dollar a month child sponsorship that we’re really trying to get up. We’ve got 80 plus kids now and we’ve got about 30 with a sponsor, and we’d like to see more people get on board with that and say, ‘We’ll sponsor a child for 50 dollars a month,’ that’s one of our big drives,” said Hope for the Hopeless H2O Treasurer Doyle Becker.

The event will be taking place on February 7, at 6:00 pm at Eastside Lutheran Church on 10th St.
A dinner will be served at 6:30 pm where jollof rice, chicken drumsticks, and kala will be served.
There will also be a small program about the Hope for the Hopeless mission at 7:15 pm.
There will be a silent auction happening right now to raise funds.
This event is free to attend and all proceeds go directly to fund the school.
